about us.
At Mint Hair Studio, we believe in leaving as little negative impact on the Earth as possible, so we strive to have the most environmentally friendly options available.
We make an effort every day to minimize our eco-footprint by recycling plastics, glass, metals, and paper, by composting, by using energy efficient washing machines and lights, and by using eco-friendly cleaning supplies.
We’ve also made it our mission to find and align ourselves with other companies that make the same efforts.
We work directly with Green Circle Salons to collect, recycle & repurpose all of our hair clippings, used foils, colour tubes, and excess hair colour. Many of these items are not accepted by traditional city recycling programs and would end up in landfills or down our drains.
Since 2016, our studio has diverted 3468.5 lbs of waste from our landfills and waterways.
